GerrAudio Moves into Larger New Facility

HHB Canada Celebrates 20 th Anniversary
On April 1 st , 2017 , HHB Canada had its 20 th birthday . A subsidiary of HHB Communications of London UK , HHB Canada began with a small staff of two people in its Toronto office and three independent sales reps . It ’ s now grown to be one of the most prominent audio distributors in Canada .
HHB Canada ’ s early products included HHB recording media , Cedar Audio , and Coles microphones . The company rapidly expanded , servicing the Canadian MI , broadcast , and pro audio markets . Numerous brands joined the growing roster of products , including SSL , Universal Audio , and many others , with the company now boasting a line card of over 20 brands .
Led by company president Dave Dysart , HHB Canada has expanded to seven inside staff members along with four independent sales reps . Dysart says his company is proud to represent many of the best brands in the industry , and to count some of the country ’ s top resellers , studios , broadcasters , and artists as its clients .

GerrAudio Distribution has moved its head office and fulfillment centre to a larger , standalone facility at 3611 Development Dr . in Brockville , ON .
“ As our company ’ s operations and reputation to deliver trusted solutions has increased , the need for more efficient space became critical ,” says GerrAudio President Bob Snelgrove . “ Our new building is more than double our former space and it has been customized throughout to deliver more efficient operations . We are putting an increased focus on product training , and our new facility will accommodate these training workshops for those customers travelling past Brockville from the GTA , Montreal , and Ottawa .”
The company ’ s main phone number remains the same and its three satellite offices in Vancouver , Toronto , and Montreal have not changed .

Long & McQuade Acquires Toronto ’ s Saved By Technology
Popular downtown Toronto specialty MIDI and audio equipment retailer Saved By Technology has been acquired by Long & McQuade . The store will move to a new location at 2 Eastern Ave . in Toronto in mid-June and continue operations with the same name and staff . Co-owners Jim Burgess and Kim Devine are retiring from day-to-day operation but will remain as consultants for the next year .
