Pearl malletSTATION Electronic Mallet Controller Pearl Drums has introduced the malletSTATION , a full-sized three-octave adjustable range electronic mallet controller designed for all players in any genre .
The adjustable low note range function allows users to set the fundamental diatonic note of the instrument to what they need . The malletSTATION is powered exclusively by Mac , PC , iPad , iPhone , and Android devices through USB bus power , allowing for mobile performance with minimal set-up and equipment . It features KMI ’ s Smart Fabric Sensor technology , allowing the silicone bar material to have an extremely sensitive , natural response , including mallet dampening and aftertouch control , and it can be tailored to the user ’ s individual playing style .

Sabian Tollspire Chimes Sabian has introduced the Tollspire Chimes , a set of five conically-shaped micro-splashes , sized in quarter-inch increments from 4.75 to 5.75 in .
Crafted from Sabian B20 bronze , the Tollspire Chimes are rolled and tempered from splash thickness blanks , then formed into a cupless , conical shape . The result is a combination of chime , bell , and splash , offering melodic sounds that will appeal to a wide range of players , from prog rock to drum-corps and marching .
Although they are not tuned to specific notes , they provide melodic movement utilizing differences in pitch and size . Additionally , their distinct white noise factor – a function of the conical shape – provides a warm “ church bells in the distance ” effect . The Tollspire Chimes include a mini-tree mount with universal multi-clamp to fit most common cymbal and percussion stands .

TC Electronic UniTune Clip Tuner TC Electronic has released the UniTune Clip clip-on tuner for guitar , bass , and ukulele .
The UniTune Clip features a chromatic tuning mode with ± 0.05 cent accuracy and a bright needle display . For greater accuracy , there is strobe tuning mode with an accuracy of ± 0.02 cent .
The UniTune Clip ’ s casing is moulded out of a custom-made resin for improved quality and feel . The stainless-steel clip is sandblasted for a safe grip and is fitted with a tight industrialgrade spring along with extra-grippy rubber pads . The display has 108 high-powered LEDs that are easily visible anywhere from bright sunlight conditions to dark stages . Regardless of which way the tuner is turned , the UniTune Clip will automatically adjust itself for a quick readout .
The tuner focuses on the vibration input from the instrument and drowns out background noise , making it usable in loud live settings . The UniTune Clip switches itself off to conserve batteries after three minutes and with regular use will work for up to 18 hours of on-time .
