CEntrance PortCaster Livestreaming & Recording Tool CEntrance has launched the PortCaster , a portable livestreaming and recording tool . The handheld device fills a gap for podcasters who need to add music , effects , and either a local or a remote call-in guest to their show .
Based on the MixerFace , the company ’ s mobile recording interface , the PortCaster is designed for recording or livestreaming a broadcast to Facebook , Instagram , YouTube , and other platforms . In addition to adding the ability to have a call-in guest , the PortCaster is complete with the Mix-Minus feature used by radio stations to prevent audio feedback for the caller . Remote guests can be on a cell phone or VOIP .
When using the PortCaster to record a high-quality remote interview using any cell phone or tablet , the interview can be recorded onto the SD card . The 24-bit / 48 kHz stereo SD card recorder ( optional ) offers “ one-button record ” and captures the program locally while simultaneously streaming online .

EVH 5150III LBX-S Lunchbox Head EVH has released the 5150III LBX-S 15 W lunchbox head , a cross between the LBXI and the LBXII that blends the Green “ clean ” channel with the Red “ full burn ” channel for a sonically diverse soundscape .
Featuring four JJ ECC83S ( 12AX7 ) preamp tubes and two JJ EL84 power tubes , this easy-to-carry lunchbox head also includes dual-concentric gain and volume controls for precise and independent control of each channel , as well as shared EQ presence and resonance controls .
Players can dial in a clean tone or turn the gain up for a bluesier counterpart on the Green channel , and hit the one-button footswitch to select the Red channel for an overdriven tone . Bedroom players can utilize the 1 / 4-power switch to reduce the head to 3.5 W while studio and live musicians can leverage this same feature to turn up the head for a squeezed and spongy tone . This amp is also equipped with dual parallel speaker output jacks , effects loop , and one-button footswitch .
