Pioneer DJM-S11 DJ Battle Mixer Pioneer DJ has released the DJM-S11 , a professional two-channel , four-deck battle mixer . It brings
new enhancements to various elements from its predecessor , the DJM-S9 , and offers a host of features to help DJs perform with Serato DJ Pro or Rekordbox . The mixer ’ s 4.3-in . customizable touchscreen allows the DJ to browse tracks , check on playback positions and waveforms , and dynamically change the texture of the music by moving their finger across the screen . With Touch MIDI , users can trigger functions in their DJ software . Up to four tracks can be played at once on the DJM-S11 thanks to Deck 3 / 4 Control . The additional decks appear on the touchscreen with a selection of controls so the DJ can browse and load tracks , adjust EQs , set loops , trigger hot cues , and more . If they ’ re using Serato DJ Pro , with Deck Move they can move tracks from deck one to four and deck two to three without a break in the music – enabling them to free up the main decks and prepare to drop in the next track . DJs can switch on Dual Deck control to use one fader , knob , or control vinyl to manipulate the tracks loaded to decks one and three or two and four . This means they can scratch two tracks at once , add effects , or adjust their volume simultaneously .

Boss RC-5 & RC-500 Loop Station
Pedals Boss has introduced the RC-5 and RC-500 , the latest additions to the Loop Station product family .
These new pedal-based loopers feature 32-bit AD / DA and 32-bit floating-point processing , onboard rhythms , phrase memories for storing loops , backlit displays , and more . The single-track RC-5 and dual-track RC-500 both offer 13 hours of stereo recording , plus advanced external control support via footswitches , an expression pedal , or MIDI .
The pedal switch on the more compact RC-5 covers all basic looping functions , but deeper control is supported as well . Users can connect up to two external footswitches for direct control of many assignable functions , or an expression pedal for continuous adjustments . The larger RC-500 is ideal for guitarists , singer / songwriters , multi-instrumentalists , and others who want to take their looping to a more advanced level . Users can connect mono / stereo instruments and pedal effects , plus a mic to the dedicated XLR input , complete with phantom power if needed . The RC-500 ’ s two tracks can be used independently for song-style composition or together for multi-track textures .
