inMusic Acquires ArKaos inMusic has announced its acquisition of ArKaos , a specialist in video processing technologies , including software and hardware for projects such as architectural installations , LED applications , broadcast , and live events . ArKaos and its entire engineering department will now become part of inMusic ’ s R & D team and will be supported by the resources and IP of the entire group of companies .
ArKaos started with developing dedicated video systems for live shows and is now focused on bringing visual technology software to a wider market . Kawai Appoints New President for U . S . & Canadian Subsidiaries Kawai America Corporation and Kawai Canada Music , the North American subsidiaries of Japanese piano manufacturer Kawai Musical Instruments , have announced the appointment of Takanori Aoki as president . He is succeeding past president Seijiro Imamura .
In his new position , Aoki ’ s job is to oversee and manage all aspects of business and work with the entire U . S . and

Canadian teams to ensure long-term growth by improving and expanding sales distribution areas and increasing Kawai ’ s brand position . Aoki previously held the position of deputy general manager of export sales in Kawai ’ s Overseas Business Division , supervising all export sales globally . Prior to that , he was manager of export sales for the Americas . This will not be Aoki ’ s first time working in North America . From 1994 through 1997 , he was the purchasing and assistant sales manager for Kawai America and Kawai Canada Music . “ Those years in North America were instrumental in teaching me about the company and piano business . I am honoured and excited to be back ,” Aoki says . “ North America is a very important market for Kawai , and I look forward to working alongside the Kawai America and Kawai Canada team to increase our brand and position in this large and growing market .”
