PRODUCT NEWS Yorkville Elite Series Loudspeakers Yorkville Sound has introduced the next generation of its Elite Series loudspeakers. First released in the 1980s, the Elite Series was known for its rugged wood cabinets and high-out- put drivers that offered PA professionals and hobbyist musicians high-SPL speakers in portable packages. The next generation of Elite speakers features new construction materials, proprietary woofers and horn drivers, redesigned horns, and a new amplifier design. Beyond the upgraded components, the Elite series can also pair with a Bluetooth-enabled app available on both iOS and Android devices to help users fine-tune the EQ and limiter settings. The new Elite Series includes the EF12P and EF15P loudspeakers as well as the ES15P and ES18P subwoofers. Yorkville EF15P Blue Microphones Bluebird SL Condenser Mic Blue Microphones has expanded its Essentials Series with the release the Bluebird SL, an enhanced ver- sion of the original Bluebird condenser microphone. The Bluebird SL’s hand-built capsule utilizes a gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm for improved resonance at higher frequencies. The rear back plate ensures balanced sound across the entire frequency spectrum and discrete Class-A circuitry maximizes the sound’s accuracy. The Bluebird SL features a new onboard switch- able high-pass filter and -20dB pad that provides the flexibility to track a wide variety of sound sources. Framus Teambuilt Pro Series Panthera II Supreme Guitar Framus has released the Teambuilt Pro Series Panthera II Supreme, a solid-body guitar with a unique 3D top. The mahogany body features a carved AA flamed maple top and the set mahogany neck features a ti- ger stripe ebony fingerboard. Pickups are a Seymour Duncan APH-1 in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan SH-11 in the bridge position.
