Primacoustic Reorganizes In-House Sales Team
for North America
Primacoustic (a division of Radial Engineering) has restructured its in-house
custom install and AV contractor sales team. The changes are meant to better
address the growing market for acoustic materials while adding the addition-
al responsibilities of two other Radial brands, Hafler and Jensen Transformers,
to the team’s tasks.
To better support independent sales reps, contractors, and regional distributors,
Primacoustic has realigned the U.S. and Canadian market by dividing it into three
territories. The east is handled by Senior Territory Manager Steve Dickson, the central
territory by Juan Carlos Bolomey, and the west by James Wright.
“Our realigned team can now better support the network of independent sales
reps that work with our customers in each territory,” says Sales Manager Roc Bubel.

Music Go Round, an established U.S.-based retailer specializing in used
musical instruments and gear, is now registered to franchise in Canada. The
company, which is part of Winmark Corporation, currently has 35 franchised
stores in the U.S. and a well-established e-commerce website.
Winmark Corporation already franchises other popular second-hand re-
tailers in Canada, such as Plato’s Closet, Once Upon A Child, Style Encore, and
Play It Again Sports. The success of these other brands throughout Canada,
as well as interest from consumers and prospective franchisees, is a driving
factor in the decision to expand into the country, according to the company.
Music Go Round is registered to franchise throughout all Canadian
provinces, but will primarily be targeting Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba,
Ontario, and Saskatchewan for expansion. In particular, the franchise has its
focus set on Toronto for the brand’s initial stores due to strong consumer
demand in the market and close proximity to the Winmark corporate office in
Minneapolis, MN.
Music Go Round’s online store, MusicGoRound.com, features more than
35,000 items from all its brick-and-mortar locations and averages 200,000 user
sessions per month. It is the only national company to earn a spot on NAMM’s
Top 100 Dealers list for six consecutive years.
