Ashdown AAA EVO 120-BT Bass Amp
Ashdown Engineering has expanded its AAA EVO bass amp range with the AAA
EVO 120-BT. It’s a lightweight 120-W bass amp combo with a single 15-in.
custom speaker.
The 120-BT is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to stream
music to the amplifier. Besides Bluetooth, the 120-BT features passive and active
inputs, as well as a balanced DI output making it a fully gig-ready solution. Weighing
37 lbs., the AAA EVO 120-BT features foot switchable tube emulated overdrive for
distortion, as well as a four-band EQ section with a sweepable mid control. The
Vintage/Modern Low push button changes the character of the low end for either a
deep vintage feel or a more modern punchy low end. In a similar fashion, on the high
end, the Vintage/Modern Highs push button adds or takes away high-end presence.
On the rear of the combo, there is a tweeter mute switch to reduce some of
the top end and a speaker mute switch together with a headphone socket for
silent practice.

Bose T8S ToneMatch Stereo Mixer
Bose Professional has released the eight-channel T8S ToneMatch mixer. Compact and
portable, the T8S features a rugged enclosure with a protective, magnetically-
coupled cover to protect controls and connectors. A chassis-bottom insert allows the
use of standard mounting accessories.
The mixer is intuitive to operate, with illuminated, stage-friendly tactile controls,
an easy-to-read display, and scene recall. ToneMatch processing presets with the
DSP engine make it easy for musicians to take control of their music. The DSP engine
includes studio-quality effects and Bose zEQ equalization, which redefines low,
mid, and high ranges for each ToneMatch preset. Each T8S channel has dedicated
ToneMatch EQ, dynamics, and effects. The T8S’ effects include a compressor, limiter,
de-esser, noise gate, chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, delay, and reverb. Tap tempo
delay and a chromatic tuner are built-in. Aux send one has a dedicated reverb of its
own while a master output EQ helps compensate for venue acoustics.
