It further went on to say that sales growth is accelerating rapidly month over month, further reiterating the strength and potential in the German market, which is just in its infancy. The distribution of its cannabis products has more than doubled since April 2017, from 200 pharmacies to over 480.

Notably, Tweed and Tweed Farms, which produce the product shipped and sold in Germany, received certificates of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well, paving the way for entrance into other highly regulated European countries. Moreover, its Spektrum facility is also GMP certified. Possibly the only GMP-certified cannabis processing facility in Germany.

Germany, as opposed to other European countries such as Italy and Slovakia that have favourable marijuana laws, is highlighted due in part to its economy. It is ranked fifth in the world according to the IMF, making it the largest exporting nation for medical cannabis besides the United States.
