So, has this article made your investment decision any easier? I suspect not, but I think if gives you some great insight into the options available to you as an investor. My suggestion is to look at any group or sector of investments and see if there is a clear leader. If there is not, then I would suggest to my clients to invest in the index. I like to compare this to the Canadian Banks. We as Canadians love to hate them but they all operate similarly and have similar long-term performance. The real decision is when to invest. While no one has a crystal ball, the opportunity that exists is real. We know when the regulation is supposed to take place and we see the opportunity, but we don’t know when the sector will start really start seeing the effects. I suggest getting some exposure now as part of diversified investment strategy.
