Rocky Mountaineer Routes
First Passage to the West - Vancouver to Banff/Lake Louise*
This route traces the historic transcontinental rail line that united Canada’s east and
west. Route highlights include: The Last Spike, Spiral Tunnels, Stoney Creek Bridge,
Fraser and Thompson Canyon, Kicking Horse River. This journey includes an overnight
in Kamloops.

This rail route is known for scenic valleys, plentiful wildlife and majestic Mount
Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Route highlights include: Hell’s
Gate, Pyramid Falls, Yellowhead Pass, Mount Robson and Moose Lake. This journey
includes an overnight in Kamloops.
Rainforest to Gold Rush Vancouver to Jasper*
This rail journey will travel through extreme landscapes including the largest temperate
rainforest in the world and the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon. Melt back
into your seat, or grab the rails and drink in some of the fresh air of the Cariboo Gold
Rush Region’s pastoral ranchlands. Route highlights include: Howe Sound, Green Lake,
Porteau Cove and Mount Robson. This three-day rail journey includes overnights in
both Whistler and Quesnel.
