villages, explore the culture and history of this

Hopewell Rocks, Bay of Fundy | New Brunswick
The Bay of Fundy and Hopewell Rocks – New Brunswick’s Bay of Fundy is home to
multiple UNESCO sites and the highest tides in the world! At the famous Hopewell
Rocks, walk the ocean floor at low tide and hours later, watch or kayak the tides that
have risen over four stories high. Be inspired by the panoramic views of the Fundy
Trail, rappel or zip-line at Cape Enrage, explore Fundy National Park or whale watch in
St. Andrews by-the-Sea.
Acadian Culture – step into history at Village Historique Acadien and meet the magical
storybook characters at Le Pays de la Sagouine. Spend the day at one of Canada’s
warmest saltwater beaches, then watch the sunset and indulge in a mouth-watering
lobster feast on a culinary cruise.
Moncton – Moncton’s Petitcodiac River tidal bore has long fascinated observers. The
Bay of Fundy tides push the river in a wave creating some of the highest tides in the
world because of resonance and shape of the bay. Moncton is a place where you can
easily travel to world-class attractions along the Fundy and Acadian coasts and be
back in time for dinner.
Fredericton – New Brunswick’s picturesque riverside capital is intimate in scale, yet
bustling with character and vibrant cultural experiences. Its tree-lined streets and
Historic Garrison District are as admired as the famous works within the Beaverbrook
Art Gallery.
Saint John – Canada’s oldest incorporated city is also the only city on the beautiful Bay
of Fundy. The historic port architecture and sites make a perfect backdrop for strolling
along Market Square, taking in the fine restaurants, galleries and shops along the way.
Kings Landing Historical Settlement – an outdoor living history museum that
creatively recreates the lives of New Brunswickers in the 1800s. Get hands-on fun in
the homes, try butter making, dipping candles and spinning wool while sharing stories,
culinary treats and trades of days gone by. Hop on a wagon to travel back in time, 19th
century style!
