HOW TO GET THERE
The Caledonian MacBrayne ferry runs from Oban to Castlebay five times a week Visit Calmac For Ferry Times.
If you fancy a more adventures way into Barra then by air is the way landing on the beach. visit Flybe
Facilities
The island has one small supermarket a CO OP which stocks most things you could ever need.
Petrol and diesel is available on the main street to the right has you get off the ferry. We never used the filling station due to limited amount of miles you cover on this tiny but perfectly formed island.
WHERE TO STAY IN YOUR CAMPER
There are numerous lay-bys and off road parking available in some stunning locations. Please don’t block access and please don’t leave rubbish behind.
Campsite are widely available across the Island and most are based on crofting land, most have hook-up facilities toilets and showers.
