General Information Kids get to be kids Safety Even though our summer is filled with fun, safety is our number one priority at Weinstein JCC Summer Camps. Our safety measures include security guards on premises (both at the JCC and Camp Hilbert), Red Cross trained life- guards and swim instructors, CPR/First Aid certified staff, an EMT on staff at Camp Hilbert, and background checks for all staff. Lunch & Snacks Your child should pack a dairy (meat and shellfish free) lunch, as well as a water bottle. Camp Hilbert and Specialty campers are provided one dairy, kosher after- noon snack. Specialty campers should also pack a morning snack. Snacks and lunches at Camp Hilbert are refrigerated prior to eating. Ganim camper lunches are not refrigerated and should be sent in an insulated pack with an ice block. Meals are not required to be nut-free, but those with nut allergies will be seated in nut-free areas. After-Care (Camp Hilbert & Specialty Camps) After-care is supervised fun to provide more flexibility to your summer schedule, and is open to all full-day campers in Camp Hilbert and Specialty Camps. Available from 5-6PM, Monday through Friday, the cost is $30 per week (this charge does not apply to 12-month families). Pre-registration is required and due by June 15. Registration Member Priority for registration opens late January through February 3 and is then open to the public starting February 4. Members only can register in person on Camp Registration Day on Sunday, February 3 from 12-2PM and receive 10% off. (This does not apply to 12-month fami- lies.)
