Safety and Wellness
Camp is planned under the guidance of CDC , IDPH , and DCEO guidelines . As these guidelines develop , the camp structure , groups , locations , and activities may change or be canceled . Should changes or cancellations occur , we will notify you via email as soon as possible .
Based on the safety guidelines established by the CDC , IDPH and DCEO :
• Everyone may be required to wear a face covering throughout the day .
• Campers must understand and maintain social distancing , handwashing schedules , and independently complete daily life tasks such as eating , dressing , tying shoes , toileting and general self-care through verbal cues .
• Group interaction may be limited and field trips may be limited to safe outdoor locations .
To ensure the safety of everyone , these requirements and the camp structure may be modified as guidance from health experts develops . You will be notified of changes via email as this information becomes available .
Facilities & Group Sizes
All facilities are equipped with outdoor spaces , individual rooms for groups , fans , and open windows . Groups are limited to a maximum of 12 campers , or less , depending on the room size . All camp locations allow for designated space for each camp group , and at least 6 feet of distance between each person . Facilities are deep cleaned daily and high touch points are sanitized as used . Whether groups are co-ed is detailed in the individual camp description . When possible , campers signed up for the same camp that reside in the same household will be grouped together .
