We are all encouraged that better days are ahead for this year , and we are pleased to bring back our popular specialty summer camps including kindergarten , creative , nature , golf , tennis , variety , and variety sports camps .
Our camps are designed to adhere to anticipated COVID-19 health and safety guidelines that may be required by health officials while still providing a memorable summer for your child . This will likely include wearing a mask , watching our distance , and washing out hands . Should guidelines and recommendations evolve between now and summer , we will email any adjustments to our summer camp safety requirements .
Each camp is structured with energized activities and outdoor play to maximize the fun while giving your child a chance to learn and grow . Campers get the opportunity to get a little dirty , make new friends , and to jump into exciting , healthy , and safe new worlds to discover and explore !
Most importantly , this summer , your child will have a chance just to be a kid , getting the most out of summer .
Circus Camp Note : Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic Big Top Little Top will not be offered in 2021 . Plans for 2022 will be shared as we get closer .

Staff
Our well-trained , seasoned staff are committed to your camper ’ s safety and well-being . A qualified director supervises each camp . Some camps , depending on size , have an assistant director . All our camp counselors are chosen carefully by the Park District for their demonstrated maturity , responsibility , and previous experience in a camp or childcare setting . Camp staff members complete an extensive training program , including supervision and safety techniques , activity development , and first aid . Camp staff-to-camper ratios are detailed in each camp ’ s information pages .
