We are seeking a motivated person with a ‘can do’
attitude who is interested in offering independent
services to Sims Pacific Metals. You and your vehicle will
be supporting our metal recycling process throughout
the North Island.
About the opportunity:
• You will need to bring your own tractor unit to pull our step
deck transporter trailer with excavator and trailer mounted
baler;
• Safely operate a baler and drive combinations such as an
excavator and earth moving equipment;
• Work at landfill and car wrecking sites in most rural areas of
the North Island where the baler operates;
• Operate autonomously to schedule work, self-manage, and
organize transport of baled material to our Auckland shredder;
• Point of contact for many transport operators, our customers
and the ability to seek out new customers;
• You will be required to work within Sims Pacific Metals Safety
and Environmental policies and procedures.
