Serving opportunities
High School Ministry
Small Group Leaders Needed
Do you have a heart for high school
students? Are you ready to answer the
call to lead, disciple and just have fun
with a great group of students? As a
small group leader we would ask you to
commit to three hours for UNITED on
Sunday (5:30 to 8:30pm) and ask that
you attend as many other High School
Ministry events as possible. If you are
interested, contact Cheyenne (cboluyt@
calvarygr.org) at ext. 5652. Please note:
there will be a mandatory background
check and interview once you have
filled out the leader application.
DivorceCare Facilitators Needed
If you have experienced the pain
of divorce and would like to come
alongside others going through this
struggle, we are looking for facilitators to
volunteer in our DivorceCare program.
For more information, contact Claire
([email protected]) at ext. 3613.
Heart for Hospitality
Neighbors International is looking for
people to welcome and befriend international college students as they adjust
to their new lives here. If you have the
gift of hospitality and some extra love
to share, we want to talk to you. Our
current needs are for Friendship Families and Airport Greeters. Contact Sonja
([email protected]).
Shut-in Ministry Volunteers Needed
If you have a heart of mercy for those
who are lonely and compassion for
those who are suffering, consider joining the Shut-In Ministry Team. This
team reaches out to Calvary members
who are no longer able to attend church
services and functions. Contact Regina
([email protected]) at ext. 3672.
Serving Opportunities in Calvary Kids
Calvary Kids has many different types of
serving opportunities this fall. We will
need a variety of teachers, helpers, and
caregivers for all ages on Sunday and
Wednesdays. Please don’t hesitate to
contact Josh ([email protected]) at
ext. 5053 to serve in nursery, preschool
or elementary.
See Something?
Say Something!
If you observe suspicious behavior that you feel may be a security
concern or find a person / group of people acting in a strange manner
which causes concern, it needs to be reported to the Emergency
Response Team (ERT). If something's amiss, trust your intuition — see
something? Say something!
As in all large public gatherings, for your own safety and the safety
of those around you, please be aware of possible risk factors. Upon
noticing something that needs to be investigated further, use a Help
Phone to ask for an ERT member to come to the area. When the
ERT member arrives, they will observe and take necessary steps to
investigate and address the situation, as needed.
