AT calvary
Being a part of Calvary Church can be overwhelming . We have programs for both the youngest and oldest ones among us . There are bible studies , events and worship services and so much more . Where do you start , how do you add more ?
There are four areas in which the life of the church fall . While some areas may overlap , it is our prayer that each individual at Calvary would engage in some aspect of each of the following .
Worship – gathering in the assembly for worship is a time in which the Spirit is uniquely present . It is essential that each of us is regularly participating in this foundational aspect of church .
Serve – Christ lived a life as a servant and we are called to live that same life . We are transformed when we are serving our neighbor . We have a multitude of opportunities to serve and there are probably some within your neighborhood !
Fellowship – We are created to be in relationship with other believers . Building into each other and being built into ourselves . There is a unique richness when we can be in a community that is as diverse as heaven will be . There are a variety of ways to experience community at Calvary Church , from small groups to classes to regularly serving together .
Equip – God has called us to be a maturing body that is being equipped with His Word , so that we can share it with others .
Calvary has classes throughout the year to foster growth in biblical wisdom .
I see my role on staff at Calvary as helping to make this big church feel small for all of you ! I want each of you to know how to connect as you worship , fellowship , serve and are equipped . If you are looking for more information start here :
