Our ministry in Calvary Community is to facilitate authentic community throughout the church and
to take primary responsibility for Adult Sunday Classes, Community Groups, membership classes and
Monday Night Bible Study.
As we reflect on what God has done over this past year, the word that comes to mind is faithfulness.
As we continue to strive toward creating smaller communities where people experience God’s presence
and love, we are constantly being reminded of how faithful our God is. From the brand new groups to
those that have been going on for years, God continues to show Himself in unique ways.
Our night at Frederick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in July was a celebration of community at Calvary
Church. It was an evening where our church family could all fellowship in God’s creation, listen to some
great music, and just spend time with friends. No one was rushing to get a seat in service, get out of
the parking lot or pick up their children from nursery. It was a relaxing, beautiful evening to just enjoy
and fellowship with several thousand people in our church family!
