group. God used the young adults’
obedience to go to this conference
in mighty ways.
Merge
In April when we moved to Calvin,
the Merge community went on hi-
atus from meeting weekly. Instead
they started serving twice a month
together. There was a lot of joy and
comradery as the group switched
up what their gatherings looked like.
The group decided to get together
to make signs for outdoor greeting
to encourage people as they made
their way into Calvin. Through this
time of serving, Merge has grown
closer as a community.
College
Fun facts
• 600 goodie-filled coffee
mugs with goodies
were delivered to area
college students at area
colleges to welcome
and encourage them to
connect with a church.
• 23 Young Adults went
on short-term mission
trips to Guyana, France,
Mozambique, Spain, and
Central Asia.
• 75 Young Adults attended
our Fall Retreat where we
focused on worship.
This year we started a Discipleship
Internship in the College Ministry.
Individuals went through an inter-
view process. Through this pro-
cess three men and three women
were chosen. This was an exciting
group as they were charged with
going onto their campus or into
their community and starting a
small group in order to raise up oth-
er disciples who made other disci-
ples. The group also met weekly
with mentors and did prayer walks
on their campuses. God grew what
He already placed in each intern
and stretched them to obey and
follow Him. They responded!
