Calvary’s Operations Ministries are growing in almost every aspect. We are continually looking for
more and better ways to serve the ministries of the church. We spent much of this past year trying
to catch up with the remodel of our building. It has been stressful and, at times a lot of work, but
it is also very encouraging to see how God provides answers and solutions along the way. One of
these solutions has been creating opportunities for volunteers to work alongside our staff. It’s a joy
to have faithful Calvary people who join our staff “behind the scenes” each week.
The Tech Services team has been busy over the last year putting the finishing touches on all the
background activities that are critical for our weekly worship services. This is a big responsibility
and one that can easily go unnoticed, especially when all is functioning well!
This past winter, Wednesday Fellowship Dinners were redesigned to increase options for diners. A
hospitality team was also added to help carry trays to tables and take dishes. Wednesday Dinners
continue to be a great time of community and we’re excited for a new season to gather around the
table with all of you.
God has used the last year to grow our trust in Him. With the added facility that needs to be cared
for and the smallest paid facility group in the last 25 years we trust each week that the right volun-
teers will show up and lend a hand. He is an “on-time God” and we can look back and see how He
has provided each week.
In all the areas of Operations here at Calvary, we are working hard to serve our church family. We
are continually striving to grow our hearts to look more like Jesus. Hopefully, in that way, people
will see Christ in what we accomplish, bringing glory to our Lord.
