The most significant growth the Calvary Care department experienced this last year was the oppor-
tunity to move from the yellow house and expand into the beautiful new facility for Care in the main
building. The Food Pantry and Clothes Closet were able to more than double in size, allowing us to
serve our Calvary families in a welcoming new environment. Lynnell Bok and her team of volun-
teers worked tremendously to make the transition as smooth as possible. Her ongoing work in over-
seeing the Food Pantry, Clothes Closet and Benevolence have been a great blessing to Calvary Care.
The move into the main building has also given us beautiful office space to meet with those in need.
Dane Bjork and Josh Mateer continue to see many people for counseling, marriage preparation,
guidance and encouragement. Since the Calvary Care department is located on the far west end of
the main building with a separate entrance, it allows those dealing with private and sensitive issues
a general level of anonymity.
After a season of staff transition last year in Calvary Care, we are blessed to have added Andrea
Reiffer and Leslie Iverson to our team recently. Andrea is ministering ten hours a week in coun-
seling. After just a few short months Andrea’s impact of counseling and coming alongside women
in need has been a great blessing. Leslie is our newest addition to the team. Her roles include ad-
ministration and serving as our receptionist by creating a warm and welcoming environment for all
who enter the Calvary Care department. She also serves a key role in connecting Calvary Care and
its resources to all of the community groups and adult classes throughout the church. Calvary is a
wonderfully caring church, and we pray that through Leslie’s assistance, care in community groups
will continue to expand and grow.
Thank you for the part you played in Grace Beyond to allow us to grow in our ministry capabilities
as a Care ministry. We pray the Lord will continue to bless you in the same manner in which he is
pouring out his great blessings on those in need through Calvary Care.
