Your tangible expression of love and care totaled $27,550. Missionary Visits Pastor Bruce and his wife, Debbie traveled to Mexico, Europe, Arizona, Texas and Mozambique to spend time with our missionaries, praying for them and encouraging them. international short- term missions This past year 65 adults participated in short-term trips supporting many of our missionaries in their work around the world. These individuals would not have been able to go if it weren’t for the prayer and financial support from those of you who sent them. We are all privileged to be a part of Calvary’s short-term missions program – whether going or sending, and our missionaries are grateful for the encouragement it brings to them. • Mozambique – once again a team went to our adopted village of Chinhangane to continue teaching and discipleship to adults and children, as well as completing some service projects. • France – this team worked alongside our missionaries in a Muslim community making connections and proclaiming the love of Jesus to them. • Central Asia – the work that was begun last year ministering to young adults in this restricted access country was continued this year. • Spain – once again this year our team used an English camp to share the love of Jesus to a community in northern Spain. • Guyana – this team provided testimonies, worship and skits in open-air meetings to share the love of Jesus to a broad audience. • Houston – a small team traveled to Texas to minister to a large refugee population from Buddhist, Muslim and Hindu backgrounds.. • India – the India team was very busy holding a kids’ camp, providing medical services, as well as painting a dorm and playground equipment. • Tanzania – a small team traveled to the Mwanza Bible Institute as guest teachers and to encourage the work being done there.
