Missionary Christmas
59 retired and active missionaries
were blessed by your generous
giving for Christmas 2016. Your
tangible expression of love and
care totaled $27,550.
Missionary Visits
Pastor Bruce and his wife,
Debbie traveled to Mexico,
Europe, Arizona, Texas and
Mozambique to spend time with
our missionaries, praying for
them and encouraging them.
international short-
term missions
This past year 65 adults
participated in short-term
trips supporting many of our
missionaries in their work around
the world. These individuals
would not have been able to go
if it weren’t for the prayer and
financial support from those of
you who sent them. We are all
privileged to be a part of Calvary’s
short-term missions program –
whether going or sending, and
our missionaries are grateful for
the encouragement it brings to
them.
• Mozambique – once again
a team went to our adopted
village of Chinhangane
to continue teaching and
discipleship to adults
and children, as well as
completing some service
projects.
• France – this team worked
alongside our missionaries
in a Muslim community
making connections and
proclaiming the love of
Jesus to them.
• Central Asia – the work
that was begun last year
ministering to young adults
in this restricted access
country was continued this
year.
• Spain – once again this year
our team used an English
camp to share the love of
Jesus to a community in
northern Spain.
• Guyana – this team provided
testimonies, worship and
skits in open-air meetings to
share the love of Jesus to a
broad audience.
• Houston – a small team
traveled to Texas to minister
to a large refugee population
from Buddhist, Muslim and
Hindu backgrounds..
• India – the India team was
very busy holding a kids’
camp, providing medical
services, as well as painting
a dorm and playground
equipment.
• Tanzania – a small team
traveled to the Mwanza
Bible Institute as guest
teachers and to encourage
the work being done there.
