Currently, we have 1,900 people involved in serving in one or more ministries. This year’s highlights began in September with our Super HEROES event in the Café. Many people met staff and learned about serving and the various ministries at Calvary, leading them to connect with ministry teams where they believed God led them. 50+ people began serving in a new ministry as a result of HEROES 2012. Be watching for information on our 2013 Super HEROES event. There will be lots of fun and prizes!! Our biggest challenge is finding people to serve in our Children’s Ministry. So many Sundays the number 5000 flashes on the sign in the Sanctuary signifying that we don’t have enough workers in our nursery. Children’s Ministry also has ongoing needs for teachers and helpers. Discovery is an ongoing ministry that helps our congregants learn their spiritual gifts and how God wants them to use their gifts. Several people go through Discovery each year. The First Impression Q
