In addition to the medical team, there were 15 wonderful volunteers from
our Calvary family who served in several capacities; spiritual advisors,
cooks, medical history teams, runners. These amazing volunteers
demonstrated the true spirit of Christian love and joy.
Eighteen guests were served with 10 cleanings, 10 filings, and 33
extractions. Between the volunteer value and the dollar value of dental
services, $18, 649 in free service was realized that day. We were all
blessed by the gratitude of so many who had been living with pain and
were desperate for relief. Every guest thanked each volunteer involved
and many of them participated in prayer conversations about Christ.
Our Teddy Bear ministry also provided Care Bears for the recipients
which were greatly appreciated.
