Central

The Central Region FFA Officer Team has been working hard to be able to reach out and impact as many members as they can . The region theme for the year is “ Break Through .” Encompassing over 70 chapters and 22,000 members , our region is very diverse in regards to geographical locations , backgrounds , and perspectives . However , we can overcome these barriers and “ Break Through ” as a region this year by building friendships with other members , motivating ourselves as well as others , and doing our part to make an impact on this organization . The Central Region Officers went to the Regional Officer Leadership Conference in the beginning of July , and learned how to grow as a team in order to grow as a region . Through fun activities and reflection sessions with the California State FFA Officers , the team learned more about themselves and their teammates . Also , through workshops with Dr . Dodson and Dipak Kumar , the officers learned effective ways of teaching to better host events such as the Chapter Officer Leadership Conference in October . Through this conference , our region has found its purpose for serving and can ’ t wait to share it in future events !

North Coast

“ Crescent City to Half Moon Bay , North Coast Region all the way !” This year the North Coast Region Officer team is encouraging members to “ Make Your Mark .” At the beginning of July , our officer team was able to get together and devise goals that would help keep our 487 mile gap between our 34 chapters , to a minimum . Our biggest goal being to utilize social media . To carry out this goal we implemented our NCR Star Program in mid-July . This program allows us to spotlight a member each Monday with an outstanding SAE project to be recognized for “ Making Their Mark ” in their chapter , home , and community . It is our hope that other chapters throughout the North Coast Region and California take our lead and inspire members to “ Make Their Mark ” as well . At ROLC our team was able to collaborate and share ideas with the five other regions in California , as well as spend some one-on-one time with our State Officer Team and Regional Supervisors . North Coast Region members , this year we hope that you will “ Make Your Mark ” through servant leadership and career success .

San Joaquin

Fun and excitement are just two words that describe the Mighty Mean San Joaquin ’ s summer . After the installation of this year ’ s San Joaquin Regional Officer team , we went straight to work . While at our officer retreat , we discovered the unique differences in our members and how by utilizing these attributes we can come together to power our region . With that being said , it became our motivation for our theme , “ Powered By Diversity Strengthened By Unity .” As a region we acknowledge the different strengths that each member possesses and hope to build upon them by coming together and supporting each other as one . In July , the Regional Officer Team had the opportunity to connect with the State Officers as well as meet other Regional Officers throughout California while we attended the Regional Officer Leadership Conference . Not only did we create relationships with the other regional officers , we learned the importance of servant leadership and what it truly means to serve the members within our region . From Agriculture Industry tours , learning how to effectively execute workshops from Dr . Dodson , we became a team of 54 and are ready to Launch California FFA !
