California FFA was truly transformed by the 89th National FFA Convention and Expo... Record numbers of California FFA members embarked on the journey to Indianapolis to be exposed to new leadership skills, compete for awards, and learn from FFA members from all over the nation. We were humbled and proud to have some of the highest scoring teams and several Career Development Event, Agriscience, Profi ciency, and Public Speaking champions. Three hundred and eighteen dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate individuals claimed the highest award given by the FFA, the American FFA Degree. Some of the California delegates and FFA members traveled to Washington, D.C. where we were fortunate enough to witness and participate in the laying of the wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery and even ventured out into the National Mall. Along with other sightseeing we were fortunate to have been able to tour the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and pay our respects. Since National Convention and the Washington, D.C. trip we have been preparing and hosting MFE and ALA leadership conferences as well as prepping for State Conference. We are beyond excited and lucky to have had the opportunity to meet just some of the amazing members of the California FFA. The 89th California FFA State Leadership Conference will push beyond boundaries and send you on an adventure to fi nd your potential, as we are “Limitless.” We hope to see you there!
