PVHS traditionally brings and competes with many students at chapter, sectional, regional, state, and national level activities. A big part of the PVHS FFA is degree advancement. A big emphasis is put on record books and their purpose. Every year many members receive their Golden State Degree with the SAEs PVHS offers. They continue on to the next step, the American FFA Degree, where PVHS has assisted chapter members in having at least one per year. Within the community PVHS also puts a lot of emphasis on community service and if there is an activity that they can participate in, the leadership class will - whether it be positive promotion in the annual Christmas parade of lights or running a successful can food drive.
