The 2014-2015 year has been exciting for
the Central Region FFA. It has been filled
with amazing leadership experiences while
attending the conferences ROLC, SOLS,
and COLC. Visits from the State Officer
Team has aided in the excitement from our
members throughout the year. Although it
has been an exciting year, we have had to
say goodbye to someone who has made a
tremendous impact on the region. A special
thank you of recognition to Jean Landeen.
This extraordinary woman retired in 2014
after serving as the Central Region advisor
for the last 33 years. This year’s team has
only had the pleasure of her guidance and
company for the first half of our year of
service, but we will dearly miss her. Tim
Truax, the 2013-2014 Regional President
stated Ms. Landeen’s character with these
words, “She was a fun and an easy
advisor to work with who genuinely cares
for her team. I have been called a couple
times by her to simply see how things
were going in my life
