DEVIN One piece of advice I wish I was given as a freshmen is to be adventurous! Freshman year is the prime year to step out of your comfort zone in order to fi nd what you’re truly passionate about.! MATT Don’t be afraid to jump in with both feet! FFA has both learning and fun to offer you, so take every opportunity you have to participate. ORRIN Try something new! Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone, believe in yourself and it might lead you to meet some of your best lifelong friends! KYLER Devote yourself to the FFA Creed, because  you  only get one shot to compete in that contest. If you commit yourself to the creed it will help you believe in yourself and this organization.  AALEXIAS The best advice I could give would be to be willing enough to put yourself outside of your comfort zone from the very beginning, whether that would be trying a contest you aren’t sure about  or even running for an offi cer position. I think it is so very important to realize that when we do things we are not necessarily comfortable with that  is where we can truly learn and grow the most. KYLE The advice I would give to a freshman is don’t let variables you can’t control get under your skin and stop you from jumping on opportunities. Life is 20% what happens, 80% how you react to it! AALEXIAS WOOLF SAE: Goat Production Entrepreneurship CDE/LDEs: Horse Judging, Parliamentary Procedure, and Citrus Judging Favorite quote MATT “Can’t never could” KYLER “Only I can change my life, no one else can do it for me.” ~ Carol Burnett  AALEXIAS “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.” ~ Kid President KYLE “We could either be mad because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses” ~ Abraham Lincoln DEVIN “Perhaps this is the moment for which you were created.” ORRIN “The power of imagination makes us infi nite.” ~ John Muir Favorite “tech-free” way to pass time. MATT I enjoy visiting and eating with good friends. KYLER A round of golf with my buddies. AALEXIAS I usually either spend time with friends, coloring or even cleaning when trying to pass time.  KYLE My favorite way to pass time is to play the guitar. DEVIN Being horseback, writing and drawing are my favorite ways to pass time. ORRIN Fly-fi shing for trout! I spend my winters tying my own fl ies, and every summer I use every free moment I have on small spring creeks, chasing wild beautiful trout. There is something about a calm day of fi shing that relaxes the soul.
