2nd High Individual). Though there were no ribbons
for them, Las Plumas FFA is also proud of their
Veterinary Skills team at 6th place and rookie Ag
Mechanics team at 20th. Las Plumas FFA members
also found success at the Silver Dollar Fair in Chico
this year with Triston Benedict exhibiting the Reserve
Grand Champion Market Goat. Jon Jones, Ryleigh
Trumbly, and Annie Belden won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
in Swine Showmanship and Jon Jones won Round
Robin Showmanship. Taylor MacKay had a great
day with the Grand Champion Market Lamb and
placing 2nd in an intense Showmanship class. Even
more recently, Loren Benedict and Jon Jones both
made the top 5 at the County Fair Best of Show
Master Showmanship at the California State Fair
placing 3rd and 4th, respectively. If all this was
not enough, Las Plumas stepped it up a few more
notches this year by adding a third Drive-Through
BBQ fundraiser, starting an Egg Laying enterprise,
and walking in their first Relay-For-Life community
service event. Way to be outstanding Las Plumas
