Picture the suitcase: a duffle bag jam-packed with my FFA uniform, a few casual clothes, a camo shirt and overalls, and enough bobby pins to last me through the apocalypse. Now think of the place: Scicon, a camp setup with a series of cabins placed in the hot, winding hills of Porterville, California, and studded with trees and the occasional snake.
