NTED BE WA TRI international By Ajara Boma A s part of the Sierra Leone Government’s continued effort to showcase the attractive incentives and opportunities now available to prospective international investors, Tribewanted Sierra Leone has taken the lead in coming to invest in Sierra Leone’s Tourist industry by creating one of the first Ecotourism venues in Sierra Leone. Tribewanted is a local non-profit organisation in Sierra Leone which partners with Shine On Sierra Leone, and has been working in the region successfully for five years, sponsoring 6 schools and computer centers around the country. It has also providing microfinance to over 7000 women across the country. Tribewanted Sierra Leone has formed a partnership with the government, landowners and the local John Obey communities to create an eco village community which will in coming years support sustainable development in the area. In October 2010 the first members of the tribe arrived on Sierra Leone’s John Obey Beach, 20 miles south of the capital, Freetown, and began to build a new community alongside the local fishing village.
