Step 96:
Mark the center line.

roll fondant and cut 2 cm
panels. Cut at angles to
fit the frame. Attach at top
and bottom only for easy
removal of cut out shape.
Step 98:
Add wood and nail detail.
Cut out your shape
pressing hard enough to
remove the panel layer
only.
Step 99:
Attach any fondant that
may have come loose.
Corrugated Roof
Step 100:
Finish your panels and
paint cut out black.
Step 101:
Attach and mark details
for the panels to the back
of the cake.
Step 102 & 103:
Roll out 1cm rope strips.
Measure the roof from the
peak to the bottom edge
and cut strips to fit.
Step 104:
Attach multiple strips
to form the base of the
corrugated roof.
Adding Colour to the Cake

Let firm overnight.
Step 106:
Protect Santa’s feet with
cling film.
Step 107:
Airbrush lightly with
yellow.
