Check the spacing
between the words often
to make sure that you
have enough space
around the cake for
the words that you are
placing.
Use a narrower strip of
the ribbon guide or card
board to place words
below the first line of the
marriage vow.

Release the impression
using a needle tool.
Brush some edible glue
on the back side of the
impression and attach to
the bottom of each tier of
the cake.
Add more embellishments
to the cake by using some
ornate appliques. In this
case, I used a fancy leaf
mold.
Attach the leaves on top
of the border mold making
sure that they are equally
spaced.

Press some white gum
paste into a border
silicone mold of your
choice.

Trim the excess dough
using a greased, blunt
