SoFlo also hosted Jordan, an 8 year old baking enthusiast who
is battling cancer and deserved a day of fun.
Jordan was given the chance to judge the cake competition
alongside Chef Nicholas Lodge and the esteemed panel of
judges. Sachiko Windbiel, the owner of Mimi Cafe Union, gave
him a special one on one cake sushi making class.
After his private class, Jordan had the opportunity to sit on
stage during Yolanda Gampp's Emoji Challenge. Jordan, his
mother, and little sister spent the day at SoFlo learning new
baking techniques and checking out what the vendors and
teachers had to offer.

Attendees loved the SoFlo Photo Experience by Creative Heart
Studio and lined up all weekend long to take photos in each of
the three photo stations. We had fun at this Photo Experience
area too! (Photo above)
The VIP ticket holders loved their swag bags that featured over
40 goodies from brands like Renshaw, Mona Lisa, Sweet Life
Cake and Candy Supply, Sweetapolita, Chef Rubber, How To
Cake It, and more. The Kid's Corner hosted free kid friendly
cake and cupcake decorating throughout the weekend making
SoFlo fun for everyone in the family.
Overall, SoFlo Cake and Candy Expo 2018 was the biggest and
best year yet! Save the date for SoFlo Cake and Candy Expo
