Step 35: Step 36:
For front legs, roll out
some snakes, roll two
fingers on the snake to
define the knee. Flatten
the foot and cut the hoof
in two with a razor.
Step 42: Step 43:
Cut two heart shapes and
trim off the points for the
ears. Make two stumps for the
hind legs, and two long
cones for the front legs.
Use a piping tip to add
toenails. Assemble the elephant.
Add a little curl on the
head, two black eyes and
blush the cheeks and
nose with pink petal dust.
Add lines and eyelashes
with the brown food
colouring. Add some
fondant curls. Dust the inside of the
mouth with pink petal
dust. For the hind legs, make a
tear drop shape, rolling it
out extra long. Flatten the
thigh and bend the leg
at the knee, pinching the
foot flat. Step 37: Step 38: Step 39: Step 40: Step 45: Step 46: Step 47: Step 48:
Add the legs. Make a
snake for the tail. Paint small geometric
shapes on the tops of
the legs, and some dots
to finish it off. Add three
dots for freckles. Paint the
hooves. Add pink petal dust on
the cheeks and to the
nose. For the elephant, make a
tear drop shape and roll
to elongate the nose. Add
a hole in the nose with a
pointed tool or small ball
tool. Make another tear
drop shape for the body. Make rocks by rolling
balls, then squishing the
sides in randomly to make
different shapes and
sizes. Pinch some sides
to make them sharp, or
leave some mostly oval
shape, to give a variety.
You will need large and
small rocks. Make some wired
branches. Roll out green
fondant onto a veining
board. Using a blade tool, add
some lines on either side
of the leaves. Add cuts with a razor.
