Step 6 :
Attach the base of the finger to the palm with a little water and smooth out the areas around with your finger or modelling tool . Repeat this process with the other three fingers . Remember that the second finger is the longest , the third finger is a little shorter than the first and the fourth finger is the shortest . The tip of the finger should come to the line closest to the end of the finger on the finger next to it .
Step 7 :
Roll out a small amount of modelling chocolate in your hand and form into a tear drop shape . Place over the top of each knuckle and smooth down . You won ’ t see this later unless you make a hand that is extending from the body in mid-air but it ’ s good to know all the anatomy even if you don ’ t see it . Repeat for all the fingers .
