Step 22 & 23 :
To paint with petal dust , add rose spirit or lemon extract to the petal dust in a palette . Use three different tones of red for this cake , and a dogwood brown colour . Paint the border of the square , and let it dry . Paint a few layers after that for a stronger colour . Paint two squares for each colour , in different areas of the cake as shown .
Step 24 :
Paint the dogwood brown colour in a few squares as you fancy .
Step 25 :
Paint the other squares with the golden lamé , deep gold , and Edible Art Paint Glamorous Gold . They can be painted in areas that you like . Use the Golden Lamé to paint in the squares .
Step 26 :
Paint a square with the dogwood brown colour in some of the squares .
