Airplane Cake
Step 1:
Picture 2. Glue 4-24 x 18 inch
cardboard pads together to create
base; use provided pattern to mark
where to hot glue uprights to board

in place (be generous with the hot
glue on the base)
Step 3:
Picture 5. IMMEDIATELY- angle in
the uprights to be 1” wide at the
top
Step 4:
Pictures 6. Hot glue on body plate;
the tapered end should be 6”
forward from the tips of the upright

You will need:
• base board 24 x 18 cardboard 4x
thick
• tail pieces (foam core and tag
board)
• 2 uprights MDF
• tail wings foam core
• body board MDF
• foam core main wing
• nose pieces foam for and tag board
• foam core wing mounts
• foam core wing mounts
• Cake: 1/2 sheet (11” by 18”)
