In its tenth year, the Churchill River Canoe Outfitte rs’ Whitewater Festival brings about 100 canoers and kayakers to the Churchill River system. A short drive and paddle northwest of Missinipe, the weekend starts on Barker Island with a group supper cooked by CRCO’s resident chef and a live musical performance in the boreal forest.
