of the royal Canadian

of poppies. Collection
boxes and poppies are
displayed annually in
November at all 12 CAA
Stores plus the CAA Car
Care Centre at regina
Battery Depot and the
regina Administration

side, CAA Saskatchewan
was a community sponsor
of last fall’s Best of
Zoomer idol, presented
by the Saskatoon Council
on Aging (SCOA). The
evening featured a
reception and dinner,
followed by eight
entertaining performances
that truly thrilled the
crowd. Money raised at
the annual fundraising
event enhances SCOA’s
programming efforts.

Safe paSSage
To continue awareness of
school-zone safety and
the CAA School Safety
patrol, CAA partnered
with the Canadian Western
Agribition (CWA), the
popular international event
staged annually in regina.
Every year, CWA attracts
thousands of visitors,
including more than 9,500
students and teachers,
who this year received
complimentary copies of
the CAA Family Safety
Booklet. CWA volunteers
(above) donned CAA
School Safety patrol gear,
including vests, caps and
stop paddles to safely
direct both human and
animal foot traffic.
