Chair’s message At your service how Caa Saskatchewan’s board of directors works for you in MeMoriAM property, automotive and travel insurance needs. While some things have changed, advocacy and safety remain a fundamental responsibility of our club. We continue to put your family’s safety first with the CAA School Safety Patrol and CAA School Zone Safety Assessment programs, while our CarFit program focuses on the comfort and safety of mature drivers. We also continue to support the Saskatchewan chapters of Students Against Drinking and Driving (SADD). We are a strong advocate of the slow to 60 km/h law for working tow truck operators who help motorists on our highways. And with last fall’s federal cannabis legislation, CAA has become a knowledgeable and trusted advocate about cannabis- impaired driving. The message is clear: If you plan to consume, don’t drive. On behalf of our dedicated staff and board of dir- ectors at CAA Saskatchewan, I thank you for your membership. We look forward to continuing to serve you and your families. Suzanne Young, J.D., ICD.D Chair, Caa Saskatchewan Board of Directors Mr. Garth Knakoske, Chair of the CAA Saskatchewan Board of Directors from 2007 to 2009, passed away last December. Mr. Knakoske was a dedicated and committed member of the board, having served several years as a committee member in addition to his two-year term as chair. His financial expertise and commitment to CAA played an integral role in serving our Members. For that, CAA Saskatchewan will always be grateful. Our condolences and sympathy to Garth’s wife, Susan, and his family in Swift Current. Since 2017, I’ve been honoured to serve as chair of the board of directors for CAA Saskatchewan. But my association with the club dates to 1998 when I first became a Member. Since then, I’ve enjoyed many benefits with my CAA membership, everything from insurance for my family to roadside assistance and travel planning. Our board of directors works diligently to serve our 183,000 valued Members. Each board member brings diverse professional experience, spanning industries including law, engineering, human resources, education, automotive, building and construction, government and agriculture. This past year, we introduced new Member benefits to CAA Roadside Assistance, including Bike Assist and Ride Assist. We also streamlined membership purchases and renewals through online approved credit card renewal. And our professional travel consultants are even more accessible—you can contact them for expert knowledge and bookings through their individual websites. On the insurance side, CAA Saskatchewan Insurance Services is celebrating 25 years of service for your home and
