q&A
The Best of Both Worlds
What the caa manitoba merger means for members, staff and our roads
How will this affect
roadside assistance?
CAA MAnitobA president
Mike Mager is excited about
the future. “There’s no doubt
our world is changing,
and I believe innovative
technology and strong
business go hand-in-hand,”
he says.
Jay Woo, president and
CEO of CAA South Central
Ontario (SCO), agrees:
“Technology is an essential
element to providing
excellent member safety
and it helps us help you
whenever, wherever you
need us.”
Both leaders also believe
that two heads—and
teams—are better than one
when it comes to serving
members, which is why they
decided to come together as
a club.

Why did CAA Manitoba
decide to merge?
Our world changes a little
bit each day as technology
evolves to improve our lives.
So, as an organization, we’ve
been looking to the future
and contemplating how
to build a stronger CAA
Manitoba. But it all really
came about when Jay and
I thought about bringing
the best tools, opportunities
and ideas together from
across our clubs to serve our
members more efficiently
and effectively. This partnership is about sharing
ideas and resources; we’re
fusing our skilled, trusted
teams to complement each
other’s strengths, and to
collaborate to help serve
our members.
Our legendary roadside
assistance will be available
whenever you need it. In
fact, with two call centres
offering expanded capabilities, we anticipate that we’ll
be able to serve you even
better during peak times.
What will happen to you
and the staff?
I am pleased that there will
be no reduction to our team.
The friendly faces you know
on the front lines (and all of
the staff behind the scenes)
will still be here to help you.
I will remain as president
and continue to advocate for
your interests, listen to your
concerns and ensure you
receive the excellent service
you’ve come to expect.
