Unfortunately, a significant percentage of cars built since then have dysfunctional Drl. consequently, they are “masked” on the highway by other cars with working Drl. it is clear to me from the widespread presence of these cars that their drivers are cavalier, and that police forces do not care (Drl are included in manitoba’s Highway Traffic Act). —C. Hugh A., DugAlD Closed for Winter it is wondeRful to see Riding Mountain National Park (“Neighbourhood Watch,” winter 2018) promoted in your magazine. But during winter, many businesses in the townsite close for the season. Elkhorn and Arrowhead resorts are open year-round, but Poor Michael’s is closed. Though one can still see the bison in the winter. Shirley S., Brandon Editor’s note: Thanks for the update, Shirley. We regret directing readers to businesses shuttered during winter, but we hope Manitobans will check them out when they reopen this spring!
