The Road Ahead
the next step in the evolution of your motor club
EvEry grEat company has a history
and an evolution. Over the last 112
years, CAA Manitoba has grown and
expanded into the strong organization
you know and depend on today.
From our beginnings in 1904 as the
Winnipeg Auto Club to the Manitoba
Motor League and CAA Manitoba,
we’re embarking on
a new phase in our
evolution. As you may
have heard in the
news recently, CAA
Manitoba and CAA
South Central Ontario
(SCO) are in the
process of merging.
We are a memberbased organization,
so this merger is
only happening after
careful consultation
and discussions, and
with the final blessing
of our membership.
We are taking this
innovative step forward to assist you
even more efficiently and effectively,
whether you’re calling for roadside
assistance, purchasing insurance
or merchandise, or booking your
next vacation.
We’re collaborating with our sister
club in Ontario to strengthen how we
serve our members every day. The new
partnership will bring valuable service
and membership enhancements for
you. One of the immediate benefits
will be no fee increase this year,
with other advantages to follow as
we come together. Beyond that,
it will allow us to strengthen our
advocacy on important issues such
as infrastructure, road safety and
consumer protection. Let me assure
you that we will continue to be the
CAA Manitoba you know and love—
and that the only changes you’ll
see will be to better your experience.
We recognize that as our world
evolves, so do your needs. This partnership will position us to stay at the
forefront of the changing world and
new technologies by creating more
opportunities to innovate our services.
By combining the best of what we do
with the opportunities
and tools this new
partnership offers,
we’re building an even
stronger company
that is better able to
serve your changing
expectations.
We are very
committed to looking
to the future and
strategically placing
ourselves so that
we can continue to
fulfill what you want
and need today and
years from now. In
coming together with
CAA SCO, we are uniting two strong
companies and that will mean better
things for you, our valued members.
And that’s the bottom line.
