It was such an informative and useful evening! Thank you to the instructors and to CAA for hosting the event. Val B. WINNIPEG Total Travel Care I just want to say a big thank you to CAA Manitoba travel consultant, Micah @CAAManitoba CAA member Calla Lofvendahl uncovered a long-lost issue of CAA Manitoba’s original member magazine, Manitoba Motorist. The March-April 1973 issue featured Clear Lake’s Riding Mountain National Park. While a lot has changed since then, our magazine continues to showcase the best of Manitoba. Parayaoan. She did such a fantastic job taking care of our travel needs, which included ensuring wheelchair access on our flights. Things ran so smoothly—it was such a relief to know everything was taken care of. We are not seasoned travellers, so Micah kindly confirmed all the arrangements with us. (Something that likely required a lot of patience at times!) I don’t know if you offer rewards for exceptional employees, but if so, I think Micah is very deserving! Barbara A. WINNIPEG Correction In last issue’s “Feedback” column (summer 2017), we incorrectly identified sockeye salmon on the menu at Deer + Almond restaurant. The correct menu item should have been goldeye.
