Juanita Seiner,
Resident of the Month
Juanita Seiner was born April 8,
1922, to Carter and Irena Bridges in
Goodson, Mo. Juanita was the youngest
of 10 children with 2 sisters and 7 broth-
ers. The family grew up on a farm near
Goodson and attended the Independence
one room school.
Juanita worked at a bakery and café
in Bolivar for a few years. She met
Cameron Seiner through a mutual friend
and the couple began dating and were
married in 1941.
The couple were blessed with two
daughters, Pat and Pam. The family
settled on a farm in the Goodson area
where Juanita was a homemaker and
Cameron farmed. Along with farming,
Cameron also worked at a hardware store
and would later represent Polk County
as the recorder of deeds. After the chil-
dren were grown, Juanita enjoyed work-
ing at the Braithwait’s Men’s clothing
store in Bolivar, Mo.
When the couple retired they moved
to Bolivar and enjoyed fishing and hunt-
ing together. They were blessed with a
wonderful 61 years of marriage when
Cameron passed away in 2002.
Juanita has enjoyed various hobbies
over the years including gardening, farm-
ing, hunting, fishing, sewing, and quilt-
ing. She is a member of the Southside
Missionary Baptist Church. She is
blessed with her wonderful family in-
cluding daughters Pat Gardner, Bolivar,
Mo.; Pam Pascuzzi, Australia; 5 grand-
children, 6 great grandchildren, and
2 great -great grandchildren with
one on the way.
Juanita moved to Butterfield in
March 2017. She enjoys reading
and spending time with her many
family and friends. Thank you for
