They’re getting real about making their
resort zero waste in 2016, and share with
us the story behind the branding of ‘Pure
Grenada’ and the state of our environment.
They first purchased the property from
Trinidadian’s Gillian and Tony Potter, then,
just 4 waterside apartments nestled in the
mangrove, and three hillside cottages in the
prestigious neighborhood of True Blue. Today
the property boasts 23 rooms, thirteen suites
and five 2 bedroom private villas. Artfully
integrated on-property facilities include: A
Marina full of charter yachts, Dodgy Dock
Restaurant & Bar, Blue Haven Spa, True
Bluetique, Sankalpa Yoga Studio, a Gym, kids
playground, a Mini Micro Brewery... even a
museum of ancient Carib artifacts - there’s

The Resort is known for its Chocolate
Festival, Easter Bazaar, and weekly ongoing
events like Latin dancing and local cooking
classes. They’ve embraced social media and
have been an integral part in promoting
Grenada and her culture.

Compliance with these two requires many
mandates, and much of the resort had to
update with things like removing chlorine
from their two swimming pools.
